“THE LITTLE PEOPLE” - Activities for 5-year olds and younger

Toddle-In is our Mother and Toddler group on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10:00am to11:30am. It is a time for games and stories for the children and a chat and cup of tea for mums and carers. This is a very popular event with dozens of mums (and grannies and others) participating with their little charges.

This is for children below school age from 10.05am to 10.45am (approx) on Sundays. There is gentle care for babies and lots of toys and activities for the older ones. We aim to provide a safe, loving and fun environment where children feel valued and accepted, and where they are encouraged to build friendships.Crèche is the foundation for youth work at Ford's Lane. Firm foundations are laid here as children are prayed for, surrounded with worship and taught simple truths of Scripture

“THE NOISY PEOPLE” – Activities for 5-18 year olds

Sunday Club
Our senior Sunday Club groups meet from 10.05am until 10.45am (approx) on Sundays. They are for children in school years 3-6. Through activities and good Bible teaching, based on "Gospel Story Curriculum" materials produced by the Good Book Company, we aim to help the children grow in FAITH through FUN and FRIENDSHIP with Jesus, with each other and with the church.

Loft and YF

• MOP & POP - Men of Praise & People of Praise: meet occasionally from 7.30-9.30pm. This is a time to praise God together.. Venues have included Costa Coffee, but at present meetings are in local churches.

“THE 'CHURCH FAMILY' PEOPLE” – Activities for the whole church
There are occasions when our church family meets together as a whole.

The Nine Forty-Five Service – the first 20 minutes of this is a time for everyone to worship God together and is consciously made “child-friendly”, whilst keeping in mind the adults present.

All Age Services and Brunches – occasionally speakers are invited who have the special God-given ability to engage an audience of all ages. Brunches are informal and a great opportunity to come along with friends and family for wonderful food, a short talk and time to chat.

Communion Lunches – We occasionally meet to celebrate Communion together as a church family, and then share a simple meal and fellowship.

Church Weekends Away – the next one will be 5th-7th July 2019 at Cloverley Hall. These are great times to relax together, learn more about God and about each other.

Summer BBQs and special celebrations – When the sun shines, church members offer their home venues for BBQs. Other events have been bookstalls, ceilidhs, musical concerts, garden parties and cake stalls.
